The biking tour begins at the starting point in Oslo, where you'll meet the experienced guide. The guide will provide a safety briefing and equipment, including a helmet and a standard or electric bike. Then, you'll begin cycling through the city of Oslo! Along the way, you'll visit some of the city's famous landmarks. The guide will share insights about the history of the city and about Norwegian modern culture.
You'll cycle past the modern buildings located along the harbour, including the stunning Astrup Fearnley Modern Art Museum. Then, you'll visit the Oslo Fjord, which stretches from the North Sea and is renowned for its scenic beauty. During the summer months, you can enjoy an optional swim in the refreshing waters to cool down! Then, you’ll explore more of Oslo’s architecture with a visit to the Akershus Festning castle where you can walk the walls and enjoy spectacular views.
The next stop is at the world-famous Vigeland Sculpture Park which contains over 200 sculptures from one artist, Gustav Vigeland. You'll pedal down the Karl Johans Gate and through the natural sanctuary of the Royal Palace gardens. Discovering the city by bike is an excellent way to explore the city's natural beauty! The bike tour will end back at the starting point in Oslo.
