It won't be long before you realize just how Matterhorn Glacier Paradise got its well-deserved name. From the highest mountain station in Europe (towering 3,883 meters high above the ground), you'll be able to admire a world of eternal ice with unbelievable views of the glacier below as well as the famous Matterhorn. If you're looking to really elevate your visit to the next level, try the spectacular summit elevator. You'll be lifted to a viewing platform even higher, with a 360° panoramic view of 38 giant alpine mountains and 14 glaciers. It's a truly unforgettable experience.

Lago Maggiore is a big lake located in northern Italy on the south side of the Alps. It was once a haunt for the English royals, and before that, for Ernest Hemingway, who would take artistic inspiration from the idyllic Borromean Islands. Highlights now include a palace and a botanical garden. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy, and the Swiss canton of Ticino. Navigazione Isole Lago Maggiore is the starting point for passenger ferries to Borromean Islands and beyond.
