Arctic Snorkelling Excursion in the Lofoten Archipelago from Ballstad

Your adventure begins at the Lofoten Diving base in Ballstad, where you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) will be greeted by your experienced instructor. They will provide a safety and itinerary briefing before giving you all the equipment you need for the excursion, including a wet or dry suit, fins, mask, tuba, hood, and gloves.

Once everyone is changed, you'll set off via RIB (rigid inflatable boat) with your instructor to the best snorkelling spots in the Lofoten Archipelago. After you've arrived, your instructor will give an introduction to snorkelling and snorkelling techniques. Now, the fun starts! You'll plunge into the Arctic waters in the company of your instructor who is happy to point out different aquatic species. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled, you may see kelp forests, fields of algae, urchins, starfish, jellyfish, and an array of big fish and crabs! 

At the end of your snorkelling excursion, you'll be taken back by RIB to the original departure point in Ballstad. Back at the base, you'll change out of your snorkelling gear and will be treated to a hot cup of coffee or tea. Warmed up and refreshed, you'll head back to your accommodations happy with your time spent snorkelling in Lofoten!
