Whether on skis or a splitboard, ski touring in Banff is an incredible experience close to Calgary. Under the supervision of an ACMG/IFMGA (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) certified guide, you will spend a day ski touring in the Rocky Mountains, around Lake Louise and Kananaskis Country, in an exceptional snow-covered environment: expect to be faced with magnificent panoramas!

Open to beginners who know how to ski, as well as intermediate skiers, this day of discovery of ski touring in Banff National Park will be adapted to your progress objectives. Equipped with your own ski or splitboard equipment, you will benefit from personalised advice to help you feel comfortable ski touring in the Canadian wilderness.

Course of events

- Meeting with the guide in front of Laggens Bakery in Lake Louise

- Briefing on the day's programme and safety instructions, including a 45-minute review of your companion rescue skills

- Departure for the hills and 6 to 7 hours of ski touring

- Return to the starting point and end of the activity
