Duitama is a city in the northwestern part of the department of Boyaca, in north-central Colombia. It is located along the Chicamocha River, in the eastern Andes Mountains, at an altitude of 11,400 feet (2,530 meters) above sea level. Duitama is a seaside resort and a very important industrial area, with milling and cigar manufacturing being the main industries.
