Learn More about Quiberon

Nestled on the French west side of the Breton region, discover Quiberon, a small commune of 4700 inhabitants.
Originally, the commune was an island until the 11th century. With time and the accumulation of sand, it became a peninsula.

Located on the coast of the Morbihan department and bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, Quiberon has many beaches. The region is characterised by its cool and humid weather due to its proximity to the ocean, both in winter and summer, although the weather is obviously more pleasant in summer.

The commune is also special because of its origins, which date back to prehistoric and ancient times, and is therefore full of Mesolithic burials, Celtic monuments and churches dating from the Middle Ages.

To start your stay, go to the Côte Sauvage. This is a coastal road running along the cliffs. You will be able to make very beautiful hikes, between dunes and bushes. From there you will have a spectacular view of the waves beating the cliffs, as well as the very picturesque sunsets.

You can also take a walk on the Pointe du Conguel. Located on the bay of Quiberon, you will see a succession of beautiful beaches. Between rocks, sand and scrub, you will be immersed in typical Breton beaches where the wind will refresh you. You will also be able to swim there but beware for those who are cold, the water is particularly cool!

Don't miss the Arche De Port Blanc Roche Percée. Situated on the sand and immersed in the water, the arch brings an extra charm to the site.

You can also go kayaking or windsurfing to add a little excitement to your stay.

Don't forget to visit the 15th century church of Notre-Dame-de-Locmaria in Quiberon.

Throughout your stay, you will have the opportunity to discover beautiful landscapes but also relics while walking.
