- Vue des Alpes is a high mountain pass in the Jura Mountains in the canton of Neuchâtel. It connects La Chaux-de-Fonds and Neuchâtel. The pass road has a maximum grade of 10 percent. A road tunnel for the motorway has greatly reduced the traffic over the pass. At about 1,050 metres above sea level, it is the third highest motorway in Switzerland. As implied by its name, the pass provides a panoramic view of the Swiss Alps on a clear day.

Between snow and sun, I had to catch the perfect moment when it wasn’t too windy. On this day at “Simplon-Pass” (sempione in italian) it was really awesome to fly over a lot of White, new snow… On the side of the roads were at least 2.5m of snowwalls. The only sad thing about this adventure was that I couldn’t drive myself up there in a powerful car - instead we took the bus but there were still very amazing views!
