More Tips on Chicago from Travelers
- I took a day trip to Chicago with my brother and a close friend. We ventured to the 360 Chicago experience in the John Hancock building. We were blown away with the view of the city. Absolutely breathtaking. This is the second highest building I’ve been in. Being from New York, I’ve been to the top of Freedom Tower to the observation deck. If you’re ever in Chicago, definitely check out 360 Chicago.
- I saw a collection of black and white photographs being sold for hundreds of dollars. The photographer’s quotation read, “I went to the stairs of Art Institute of Chicago, turned around, and was inspired.” And I thought, “I can do that.” So I went to the stairs of the Art Institute and created my own version of this photographer’s inspirations. They are actually some of my favorite Chicago images!
- It was a perfect Saturday in Chicago and I was amazed (though not surprised) by the number of boats out on the water. I love the backdrop of Lake Michigan and thought it was especially cool to see so many people being able to enjoy the great outdoors just a few hundred feet from the downtown area.
- 1 year ago I made a huge move to Chicago, I’ve experienced some of the hardest moments of my life in this year and I am so happy for them because they have made me into a better version of myself. I can’t wait for those hards times to continue to shape me in the coming years.
