- One off the bucketlist - We were very close to not making the trip up there as our budget was on its last legs. We decided to go it alone rather than use the extortionate travel agencies and made the journey via several local combi-taxi’s, one of which was 5 hours long, then a few sketchy gravel roads with sheer drops to the road’s side, a hike up a railway track, a mad dash through a tunnel to avoid the approaching train, and then a 3 hour round trip hike to the top and back the following morning. One of the best decisions we made and a story to tell. Always do it.

- I went to Machu Picchu with my girlfriend and since we stayed there for a long period, we carried some bananas, as soon as my girlfriend took one to eat, this llama came to us, it was so funny! My girlfriend was afraid and started to run like crazy to avoid the animal xD
