Montreux
Montreux is a Swiss municipality and town on the shoreline of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps. It belongs to the district of Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, and has a population of approximately 26,433, with about 85,000 in the agglomeration Vevey-Montreux as 2019.

Chillon Castle is an island castle located on Lake Geneva, south of Veytaux in the canton of Vaud. It is situated at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve, which gives access to the Alpine valley of the Rhône.

- The lake side promenade in Montreux is possibly one of the best places to see the different colors in the sky from day to night. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to witness such an amazing view of the sunset over the calm waters of Lake Geneva. The leading lines from the railings of the dock, in addition to the streaks from skydiving planes in the sky, really make this an interesting photo spot. In the home of jazz and the Chateau Chillon, it is perhaps unremarkable sights such as these that catch the eye the most.
