- You can get the salt flats of Uyuni, Bolivia in two different ways. During the dry season and during the rainy season. The rainy season, being a bit inconvenient as you get salt and water everywhere is also spectacular. The water stays on top of the flats and creates an endless mirror effect. Amazing!
