Early on, I was fascinated in travel and photography. On my backpacking trips all around the world I became even more passionate about taking pictures of the natural beauty that surrounded me. I work as a freelance photographer and live in Japan.

About this picture

After climbing Mt. Kala Patthar (5545m) I sat down on some rocks and waited for the sunset. As soon as the sun was gone the sky turned purple and gave me the chance to take a few more beautiful pictures before I had to head back to Gorachep where a warm stove was waiting for me.
