Originally built in 1872, the Hastings pier closed to the public in 2008 and almost completely burnt down in 2010.
It reopened once again to the public in 2016, but unlike many other piers, remains largely undeveloped and lacks the attractions found on similar piers such as the popular one in Brighton.
