Ia
Oia or Ia is a small village and former community in the South Aegean on the islands of Thira and Therasia, in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it has been part of the municipality of Santorini, of which it is a municipal unit.

About this picture
I took at long exposure of the cave houses but no starts because of the lights. I went on a different location of Santorini where it was pitch black and took the pic of the Milky Way. I then combined the 2 images with photoshop.

- In the old harbour in Chania on the island of Crete stands a lighthouse. This rustic old building can be seen from any part of the old harbour and is one of the things everyone visiting is bound to remember. I have taken many snapshots of this lighthouse over the years. But this time I wanted to get an image that was more true to how I picture it in my mind when I remember it. The combination of the old historic location, the fiery sunset and the couple next to it fulfils most of the emotions I have associated with this location. I got my image.
