We were hunting for icebergs in Bonavista, Newfoundland. We were told a big one had been spotted just off the coast the day before. We drove into town and the locals directed us to the lighthouse. The iceberg had drifted off far into the ocean, and was just a speck of white on the horizon. It didn’t really matter – the lighthouse and the park around it were beautiful regardless.
