It is a breathtaking landscape that you can see from the Explore hotel in the mettle of the national park Torres del Paine. They say, it is at the end of the world, and you will have a beautiful nature around you. Those are two lies! It is actually, when you get a little accustomed to Patagonia not at the end of the world. The hotel is close to the tourist center of the national park; you are not so alone. The next lie is a wonderful nature will see. This is a huge understatement! It is an utterly breathtaking, mindboggling experience, especially when you have the luck of a blue sky.
Las noches de invierno en el Lago Chelenko (General Carrera) son especialmente tranquilas y hermosas. Afuera el frÃo asecha y obliga el abrigo, sin embargo la Luna emerge enorme, luminosa y soberbia bañando el Chelenko y las montañas y cerros que lo rodean como la Cordillera Castillo.
San Rafael Lake is an arc-shaped coastal lake located in the Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Region of Chile, within the national park that bears its name. To the north the lagoon is connected to the Moraleda Channel, to the south lies the Ofqui Isthmus. To the west and east lie the Taitao Peninsula and the Northern Patagonian Ice Field respectively. The Lagoon was formed by the retreat of the San Rafael Glacier in the Northern Patagonian Ice Field. Today it is a popular tourism destination, and ships sail from Puerto Chacabuco to the lagoon nearly every day to see the glacier.
A massive sand dune we came across while exploring the Valle de la Luna in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. If you look very closely, there are other explorers on the opposite side of the dune that will give you some scale of the landscape.
In the middle of Carretera Austral 50 kilometers away and only 1 hour from Cochrane, this glorious place of nature is hidden. While there you can walk on millenary ice, enjoy photography and observe Condors in their natural habitat. It is without a doubt a destination that you can not ignore.
It was March, 2014, and I was heading south with my bicycle. My first long distance travel, I had started in Santiago de Chile after quitting my job and selling everything I owned, 3 months later I was at this spot, heading south, with no clear destination but by that time I was feeling I had to reach Punta Arenas in Chile and then see what was next. In the meantime I had plenty of time to capture the moments I was living and creating some good work in photography. This photo briefs what I still do today, after 4 years, I am still on my bicycle but this time, in northern Chile.
La Gran Torre Santiago es un rascacielos de 300 metros de altura ubicado en la ciudad de Santiago, Chile.​ Es parte del complejo Costanera Center, que comprende un centro comercial, dos hoteles y dos torres de oficinas. Fue diseñada por el célebre arquitecto argentino César Pelli, titular de Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects de Estados Unidos, quedando el diseño del complejo comercial a cargo de Watt International de Canadá y las oficinas de arquitectos Alemparte Barreda y Asociados de Chile.
A pinnacle sight of Chilean Patagonia, Las Torres seem almost alien in nature. Millions of years of erosion resulted in 3 horn-like structures that stand tall and proud above a glacial lake. Clouds parted just in time to reward a strenuous uphill hike with this majestic landmark.
2 flat tires and getting stuck in the middle of nowhere for hours to come see this bird. The wind was so strong that it was very hard to keep my lens without moving, the waves at the ocean were caused by the strong wind! BahÃa Inútil in Chile

This was shot at the Tagua-Tagua Park in the chilean Patagonia. After two days of hiking we woke up to this female kingfisher (MartÃn Pescador in spanish) posing for us. After lots of pictures I finally got this one, it was worth carrying the full size camera and lens!!
This is the very end of the largest continental ice field. It ends in the Torres Del Paine national park in south Chile. A place that will truly take your breath away with its beauty and wilderness. Do not die before you have been there!
The altiplano around San Pedro de Atacama is a breathtaking landscape far above the highest European mountains. When you travel this road by car you can stop and just think about the fact that you are currently paring about 1k above the higher mountains of the European Alps.

After a massive, long day of hiking through the W treck in Torres Del Paine national park, Chile we were sitting in the lodge having a well deserved pisco sour at 10pm. We noticed that the sun had finally started setting through some of the low rain clouds around, suddenly beaming light onto the cliffs. We raced outside to snap a few photos on our phones (our camera equipment was back in the tents) and witness one of the most beautiful and well deserved sunsets I have ever seen
Trekking Laguna Cerro Castillo, immersed in the center of Patagonia in the Eleventh Region of Aysén. The journey starts in Villa Cerro Castillo, 1.45 hours from Coyhaique (capital of the Aysén Region). Two payments must be made at the base: one of $4000 and another of $9000 Chilean pesos. The trekking is 7 km uphill, and on average it is 3 hours uphill and 2.5 hours downhill. It is recommended to be well equipped so as not to have any problems; trekking stick, water, chocolate, good shoes and adequate clothing for the changing climate in Patagonia. It is worth making the effort and going up.
Hornopiren//- Hidden in the surroundings of Hornopiren is this beautiful postcard. Hornopirén is the gateway to the southern road. From here you connect by boat to Caleta Gonzalo, starting there the land crossing until you reach Villa Ohiggins, which is the end of the road.
