Etretat was one of the first locations I stopped at on my European trip in my self built campervan. There was a lot of tourists around and the sun was shining but the moment a grey cloud appeared, everybody jumped into the caves to the back of the beach. This gave me the opportunity to shoot this shot, lining the wet mark of the rock up with the sea on the horizon. Note the boat for scale!

And i decided that this city is not for me. I like it. It is beautiful. But I can’t imagine to live there. It is loud. It stinks. It is hectic. So I was happy to shoot there.
