Hill station in Le Boréon, France

As we were adventuring in wolves’ territory in the Parc National du Mercantour, the weather suddenly changed. That’s pretty common in the mountains. The blazing sun left the place for a thick fog. Soon enough, the tree-covered hills were drowned in the mists. I’ve always wanted to shoot these landscapes of grey trees and mist. However, these are hard to come by in Montréal. So I couldn’t let this opportunity slip away and just fired at will. This is one of many other misty pics. Hope you’ll enjoy them. Ocean in Marseille, France

I took this picture in Marseille, south of France, during a corporate shooting session for a friend of mine which was starting his new activity. We wanted to have pctures that shows nature, health, good vibes and quiet… One of our spot was this beach, with white sand and this unreal color of sea. I saw those little stones on the sand and I suddenly imagined that tom thumb went there ! ;o) I simply pushed the button and here is the fresh result. Hope you enjoy.

Cliff in Promenade des Anglais, France

In late May 2018, I was lucky enough to go to Nice, France for 5 days, and to rediscover this city. It’s a place that is dear to my heart because I used to go there each year from the time I was 3 weeks old until I was 18. Last time I’d gone was in August 2009, almost a decade ago. The series of photos I took in Nice was a way for me to put in picture the fading memories I had from a place that is synonymous to childhood innocence, it’s a bubble out of time and space. If the architecture evokes Italy, it also reminds me at times of Florida or California, and it has some Wes Andersonian vibe.

Forest in Le Boréon, France

On the frontier of the National Park of Mercantour, next to a wolves preservation center, there’s this small cabin. As we were getting drenched, the view reminded me of Cabin Porn (one of my favorite books) and I couldn’t help but get into the rain and snap a picture inspired by the great photographers who contributed to CP. This picture is also like a mirage of a promised land, far from civilization and noise, in harmony with nature. Landmark in Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, France

I was at the top of Notre Dame de Paris while taking this photo in the morning. There were a lot of places I didn’t visit when I was living and working in there. So I’ve decided to go back and rediscover the city with a new eye, the visitor’s eye. And the new view I’ve got was so beautiful, and then I understood why people still love coming to Paris no matter how impatient the people living here are. And oddly enough, what makes me feel home the most, is that attitude. Paris.

Lake in Lac d'Auzon-Temple (Réservoir Aube), France

While on vacation in Troyes, we went to enjoy the nature around that city. While walking at the lake, we saw a bunch of trees growing in the middle of the lake. It was a beautiful sight, seeing this small island in the middle of the lake where some of the trees managed to grow. This island was submerged in water in the spring, and the only thing you see from above is a bunch of trees in the middle of water. Flying with a drone, you see a surreal picture from above.

Landmark in Pantheon, France

The Panthéon in Paris has always seemed like the city’s most understated destination. This monument to church and state has the most incredible decorative ceiling, and has never seemed to attract anywhere as many tourists as Paris’s other attractions. Beneath this stunning ceiling, deep in the catacombs, lie the tombs of the philosopher Voltaire, the writer Victor Hugo, the scientist Marie Curie, and even the leader of the French Resistance Jean Moulin among many others.

Headland in Île Harbour, France

Place of worship in 8 Rue du Paradis, France

Landmark in Mont Saint-Michel, France

Town in 2 Quai Théodore Botrel, France
