It was a particularly windy day in Athens and we were strolling on Pani Hill, when the buzz of a red dragonfly caught our attention. Suddenly, we noticed we were surrounded by these exquisite creatures, all struggling to hold on to these tiny flower buds, during the gusting winds. We believe that this particular photo en-capsules the effort these small dragonflies put on, simply trying to survive another day.

I was on Tsia, an island in Greece, on my 9th day of travel, and I thought this picture captured the essence of summer perfectly - we try to be on the beach trying to beat the heat, relaxing, taking a break from work, having a drink..
