We were on our way to Goillet Lake at 2561 meters above Breuil-Cervinia and took this shot with apparently no wind blowing on the lake. It’s 23 years since I first knew this outstanding piece of rock, italian called Mount Cervino, but all the time I see it in front of me it leaves me stunning and breathless. It’s a deep feeling you never forget.

There was a great silence and noone around, only the birds sang in their peaceful morning sound.
